IATC Exhibition Stands

The Client

The International Agriculture & Technology Centre based at Stoneleigh Park Exhibition and Conference Centre near Coventry offers support and advice to UK companies in the agriculture and related technologies sector looking for new market opportunities across the globe. They attend several agricultural events throughout the year across the UK, which can be categorised in 2 ways - 1. Indoor agricultural exhibitions in an Exhibition Hall sheltered from the elements, 2. Outdoor agricultural exhibitions with their stand located in the middle of a field with no shelter from the weather.

The Brief

Their brief to DIS was to design and produce two different and flexible exhibition stands to meet their differing exhibiting requirements as well as installation and breakdown of each stand at a variety of exhibition venues across the UK.

What we did

One of our Project Managers was appointed and met with the client to discuss their vision and budget in more detail. Sketches and an initial quote were produced and discussed with the client, followed by full CAD visuals of the stands.

Exhibition Stand 1 – This stand was a 6m x 2m Octanorm system for indoor use including all poles, beams and infill panels, halogen spotlights, carpet, lockable storage area and full colour digitally printed graphics. We also produced a 3x3 curved pop-up and 5 roller banners to be used in various rotations. We supplied all furniture, literature racks, mini fridge, coffee machine and water cooler. All graphics designs and layouts were produced by DIS with full approval by client.

Exhibition Stand 2 – We designed an outdoor stand concept that would be easy to transport and install, yet an effective environment for the IATC staff to promote their business and liase with show visitors. The stand consisted of a 6m x 3m gazebo tent with removable sidewalls to suit each exhibition space. We supplied staging to the floor with cord carpet to cover the area and all garden furniture, toblerones with graphics and digitally printed flags with poles.

DIS store both stands and manage all logistics of installation and breakdown at their exhibitions throughout the year.

Results

Each exhibition stand is quite different yet effective for 2 completely different exhibition environments. Both stands can be mixed and matched to suit the client’s ever changing requirements and stored at DIS until required. The client was so impressed by our one-stop-shop service and the quality of our graphics that we were contracted to carry out further projects for them.
