Site Hoardings

The Client

Various UK-based companies have approached us to produce standard site hoardings onto di-bond and foamex board as well as hoardings with a slight twist. They have included house builders, construction companies, leisure outlets and shopping centres.

The Brief

The brief from each client differed considerably. In some cases we were simply given the instructions detailing the customers requirements including sizes and quantities and asked to recommend a substrate best suited to their needs. In other cases, we carried out a comprehensive site survey, discussing the clients requirements in depth, followed by the submission of a comprehensive quote document with Method Statement and Health and Safety document.

What we did

Using our new, state-of-the-art direct-to-substrate Vutek PressVU UV 320/400 we produced site hoardings on foamex board, aluminium di-bond (for more durable and longer lasting finish) and onto clear perspex sheets for an “edge” for The Brewery site in Cheltenham, a new housing development for David Payne Homes, The Lowry Centre in Manchester and Leicester’s Premier Shopping Centre “The Shires”.

Results

The panels were produced and fitted on-site by our professional installation teams at sites throughout the UK. The Vutek did not let us down even though it was turning around a high number of boards at a very high quality across a number of substrates. The close viewing distances were not a problem for the Vutek’s 600dpi quality print. We continue to produce hoarding graphics for these clients and also for new developments across the UK.
